 It has been estimated that the installation of the Koniambo Nickel SAS complex will generate more than 2,500 jobs in areas such as farming and agriculture (to meet the needs of an increased population) and the service industry. This figure could very well be exceeded through initiatives being taken in these currently under-represented sectors of the Voh-Koné-Pouembout area.
Tourism, transport, commerce, the craft industry and also education, the health sector, new technological information and communications could potentially provide a well of future employment.
